This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or ACH Bank Account information available.
Practice dates, times, and locations are still being arranged. We anticipate having these secured mid-November 2024. While not guaranteed, we are hopeful practice schedules to be similar to those in the 2024 season. Our website will be updated with this information as it becomes available; please check it often. Upon registration, your email will be added to our newsletter distribution.
While subject to change, we anticipate our season calendar to be as indicated below.

There are two separate registrations you must complete for rugby - AYR and Rugby Xplorer.
Step #1 - Registering as a player with AYR through SportsEngine.
Step #2 - Renew or create a USA Rugby profile in Rugby Xplorer, and pay for your player's membership. USA Rugby dues are not collected with your AYR registration, and are payable directly to USA Rugby. Players without active RX profiles and unpaid USA Rugby memberships are not roster eligible, and will not be allowed to play on game day.
**ALL** tackle players (PREP - HSVAR) must create and maintain an active USA Rugby profile in Rugby Xplorer. Please make sure to go to https://myaccount.rugbyxplorer.com.au/ as soon as possible and complete this vital step. For returning players - enter the user name and password from last season. Click register, find a club, type in Atlanta Youth Rugby and follow the prompts. For new players, enter a user name and password, follow the prompts to activate a profile. Then, click register, find a club, type in Atlanta Youth Rugby, and follow the rest of the registration steps.
12U Middle School Junior Varsity: Tackle, coed, made up of boys that are 12 years old or younger on September 1 of the current school year AND girls that are 13-years-old or younger on September 1 of the current school year. Typical ages in this level are 10 - 12 years old.
14U Middle School Varsity: Tackle, boys that are 14 years old or younger on September 1 of the current school year. Typical ages in this level are 13 & 14.
High School Junior Varsity: Tackle, made up of players that are 16 years old or younger on September 1 of the current school year. Usually, this is ninth and tenth grade players. Typical agers in this level are 14, 15, and 16 years old.
High School Varsity: Tackle, Boys OR Girls (separate, not coed), made up of boys OR girls that are 19-years-old or younger on September 1 of the current school year AND were enrolled in high school on September 1 of the current school year. Usually, this is eleventh and twelfth grade players. Typical ages in this age group are 16, 17, and 18 years old.
We will be using SportsEngine to handle all communication with players and parents . When you are finished registering your player(s), please download the SportsEngine app. Once your player is added to the team, you will be able to sign in (using the same user name and password you used to create the registration account) and claim your player. Players are added to each team's roster frequently, so if you are unable to find your player please be patient. All information about practices, games, and any other event will be posted BY THE TEAM'S COACH OR TEAM ADMIN in the app for you to see. If you have questions about the schedule, please reach out to your coach directly.
Sibling discounts will be available for those registering on September 1 and beyond. Sibling discounts will be $25 for each additional registrant, and must be registered in the same session by selecting "add another child."
Any player who is in good standing (no rugby suspensions, positive reference from your coach, no outstanding debts to the club) that has a legitimate financial need may request a scholarship. Scholarships range from 25% - 100% off the registration cost only. **Scholarships do not cover the required USA Rugby membership dues. These are payable in full at the time of renewing or creating a member profile in Rugby Xplorer.**
